Mill Ruins Park
Mill Ruins Park exposes walls, canals, tailraces, and machinery from a district once described by the park board as the world's largest direct-drive water-powered facility. The ruins show how water left St. Anthony Falls, drove turbines, and returned to the river below the flour mills. The park is free, but current construction prevents a through route in the lower ruins. That area uses an entrance near the 35W Bridge Remembrance Garden and requires visitors to return the same way. Ice, high water, storms, and construction can change circulation.
