Seward Park
Seward Park wraps 300 acres of forest around Bailey Peninsula in Lake Washington. A 2.4-mile paved loop follows the shoreline past beaches, views, picnic areas, and boat access. Interior trails climb into old-growth forest with eagle nests, a native plant garden, and a much different feel from the busy waterfront loop. The paved outer loop is the most accessible route. Upland paths are hilly, rooted, and often muddy in wet weather. Swimming and boating conditions are seasonal, and the shoreline at the north tip of Bailey Peninsula is reserved for boats arriving by water.
