Blanton Museum of Art
Ellsworth Kelly's Austin is the only building the artist designed. Completed in 2018, the 2,715-square-foot stone structure uses colored-glass windows, a totemic wood sculpture, and fourteen black-and-white marble panels to turn daylight into part of the work. The building sits within the Blanton's museum grounds and is included with general admission. The galleries and outdoor plaza add the museum's broader collection and rotating exhibitions. Monday is closed, Tuesday is currently free, and Saturday stays open later than the rest of the week.
