Point State Park
Point State Park occupies the tip of downtown where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio. Paths and lawn surround the confluence, the outlines of former Fort Duquesne and Fort Pitt, and a large fountain near the water.The park is free and officially operates from sunrise to sunset, so opening and closing times change with the season. Fountain operation, river access, events, construction, flooding, ice, and weather can alter a visit.
