Arizona Capitol Museum

The Arizona Capitol Museum occupies the original territorial and state capitol, built from 1898 to 1901. Its copper dome and Winged Victory weather vane rise above the old House and Senate chambers, the room where the state constitution was written, and exhibits on Arizona's path from territory to statehood.First-floor displays include material connected to USS Arizona, while upper floors preserve legislative rooms and state symbols. Admission is free. The museum currently opens on weekdays, with seasonal Saturday hours returning later in the year. Security, legislative activity, holidays, and exhibit work can change access.
