Canals, Cactus, and 7,500 Instruments

S'edav Va'aki Museum preserves the remains of an ancestral village and the canal engineering that supported large farming communities in the Salt River Valley. The Heard Museum puts historic work beside contemporary Indigenous art, while the original Arizona Capitol keeps the copper dome, old legislative chambers, and room where the state constitution was written.Phoenix Art Museum holds more than 20,000 objects across global collections, photography, fashion, contemporary art, and art of the American West. Desert Botanical Garden fills 55 cultivated acres with more than 50,000 plant displays. The Musical Instrument Museum pairs 7,500 instruments with performance video and a gallery where visitors can make sound themselves. The six stops stretch from the Capitol Mall and Central Avenue to Papago Park, the airport corridor, and the north valley. Summer heat changes outdoor access, and some museums use seasonal open days. Admission, timed tickets, tours, parking, special exhibitions, events, and reservations are not included with the PopHops Pass.
