Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge

Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge runs roughly 3,000 feet over the Missouri River between Omaha and Council Bluffs. The Nebraska-Iowa state line crosses the deck, making it possible to stand in two states while the skyline, river, trails, and industrial waterfront spread out around the bridge. The crossing is free and reached from The RiverFront, which currently operates from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The exposed deck can be windy, hot, icy, or unsafe in storms. Walkers, runners, bicycles, and other wheels share the route.
