A Brewery, a Quarry, and Two Missions
Two missions, a working market, two gardens, and two museums fill this seven-stop collection. The Alamo covers a 300-year span that begins before 1836. Mission San José opens up the larger footprint of a mission community, including family quarters, workshops, a granary, and a grist mill.Downtown stops add very different interiors. Historic Market Square has more than 100 locally owned businesses. The Briscoe occupies a former public library, and the San Antonio Museum of Art occupies the red-brick Lone Star Brewery complex. North of downtown, the Japanese Tea Garden puts koi ponds and a 60-foot waterfall inside an old quarry, while the Botanical Garden spreads Texas landscapes and conservatory biomes across 39 acres. The geography and visit times make this a two- or three-day Pass. Four stops sit downtown or along the river; Mission San José is south, and both gardens are north of downtown. Some sites are free, while the museums and Botanical Garden charge admission. Reservations, service schedules, exhibition changes, and seasonal hours vary by stop. The free PopHops Pass doesn't include tickets, reservations, discounts, or partner benefits.
