The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum
Gerald Ford became president after Richard Nixon resigned, inheriting the Watergate crisis and a country with little trust in its government. The museum covers the pardon, the end of the Vietnam era, inflation, energy pressure, Cold War choices, and the compromises of Ford's brief presidency.A reconstructed Oval Office, documents, artifacts, and decision points can fill 90 minutes to two hours. Adult admission is paid and parking is free. Monday tickets must be purchased online because the Museum Store is closed, and the museum closes on three major holidays.
