Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Frederik Meijer Gardens opened in 1995 after 13 years of planning by the West Michigan Horticultural Society. The 158-acre campus now combines indoor conservatories, outdoor gardens, an eight-acre Japanese garden, modern sculpture, learning spaces, and a large welcome center.Admission is paid and the venue is cashless. The campus is described as barrier-free, but distance, surface, and weather still affect a visit. Hours change for selected late nights, holidays, winter Mondays, exhibitions, concerts, and private events.
