Fort Worth Botanic Garden
Trade concrete for a living museum.Established in 1934, Fort Worth Botanic Garden is Texas's oldest major botanic garden. Its 120-acre campus joins specialty gardens, plant collections, research through the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, and landscapes that change with heat, rain, growth, dormancy, and care. The Japanese Garden shown in the Hop image is one exact chapter inside that larger living collection, not a substitute identity for the whole campus.Choose a route by weather and mobility rather than chasing every garden. General admission includes the Japanese Garden, while temporary exhibitions, classes, and special evening programs may require separate tickets. Do not pick plants, animals, or rocks; stay out of barricaded or pesticide-posted areas. August heat causes the current 15:00 early closure; September normally returns to 08:00–18:00, so re-enter the season after August 31.
