Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver Botanic Gardens fills 24 acres on York Street with plants from Colorado and around the world. Eighteen arid gardens show what thrives in the region's high-altitude climate. Other collections include a tropical conservatory, Japanese garden, steppe plants, alpine rock garden, bonsai pavilion, waterlilies, roses, herbs, and a children's garden.General admission is paid and timed entry is required. Most paths and facilities are accessible, but the collection is spread across indoor and outdoor spaces. Seasonal schedules, private events, and concerts can shorten normal hours, including early closures already listed for late summer 2026.
