Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum uses survivor testimony, historical artifacts, film, photographs, and interactive displays to explain the Holocaust and connect it with later genocide and the development of international human-rights law. Its Dallas roots began with local survivors who organized to preserve their own histories. The permanent exhibition is recommended for visitors age 12 and older because of the subject matter and graphic material. Admission is paid, Tuesday is closed, and the final permanent-exhibition entry is an hour before closing. Visitors pass through metal-detector screening, and bags are restricted.
