The Sixth Floor Museum occupies the former Texas School Book Depository overlooking Dealey Plaza. Its main exhibition uses photographs, films, news coverage, objects, models, and witness accounts to examine John F. Kennedy's presidency, the assassination on November 22, 1963, the investigations, and the event's long public aftermath. The corner area associated with the shooting is preserved behind glass, and nearby windows look across the plaza. Admission is paid and timed, with the final daily entry before closing. Monday and Tuesday are closed. Security screening, bag limits, and rules for photography and phones apply.
