Idaho Botanical Garden

Idaho Botanical Garden occupies the former nursery and farm grounds of the Old Idaho Penitentiary, where incarcerated people once raised plants and food for the prison. Roughly 15 acres now show high-desert planting, native habitat, cultivated garden rooms, and seasonal change.Admission is paid, and last entry is one hour before closing. Weather and special events can change access. The usual parking lot has been temporarily closed, with current directions sending visitors to the Table Rock Trailhead lot behind the Warden's House.
