National Aquarium

The National Aquarium opened on the Inner Harbor in 1981. In 2024 it added the free outdoor Harbor Wetland, rebuilding part of the salt-marsh habitat that once lined this water with thousands of native grasses and shrubs.The aquarium's indoor exhibits require timed paid admission, and the museum recommends at least two hours. The outdoor wetland does not require a ticket but can follow separate access conditions. Hours change seasonally, and last entry is generally one hour before closing. More
